Your Open Metaverse. Digital Frontier.

Over the past decade, a few people kept dreaming of a world they thought they’d never see.

A digital world? What would it look like? What possibilities would it offer? How would it change the world?

In 2013, Daniel van der Waals started his exploration of virtual realities as a business model.

At the time, this term was not widely used. Jorrit and later Alex joined him and together they founded Beemup.

A company dedicated to, what we then called, Immersive Story Telling and what would ultimately become ‘Your Open Metaverse’.

A platform on which Artists, Creators, and Brands have complete freedom to create their own Metaverses, Meta-Worlds, Meta-Spaces, Meta-Experiences, Concerts, Expos…

Anything they can dream of.

Supercharged by the most powerful blockchain in the world allowing: decentralized super profiles, ownership and authenticity of virtual assets, novel business models, Play-to-Earn and Experience-to-Earn.

Creators can engage directly and without the interference of third parties, with their target audiences.

Beemup was building the Metaverse, Your Open Metaverse, long before anyone had even heard of it.
